CopperDog 150 hosts free dog sled rides

CopperDog 150 hosts free dog sled rides in Calumet this weekend. Kids can take free rides at Agassiz Park off 4th Street from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Free food and hot chocolate will be available. CopperDog merchandise will be available for purchase and donations will be accepted.

"Tom Bauer will be here. He is with the Otter River Sled Dog Training Center and Wilderness Adventures. So, he will have his teams doing the free rides. Jerry Trudell of Sharks Came Racing will be here for photographs with their dogs," said CopperDog musher liaison Krissy Kovachich.
