2016 IPSSSDR – 8 Dog Classic Sled Dog Race Returns for 2016!

Limited Entry • Open Immediately • $10,000 Purse

The International Pedigree® Stage Stop Sled Dog Race is pleased to announce that in addition to the 16-Dog Pedigree® Stage Stop, the Pedigree 8-Dog Classic will return for 2016.

Due to the high level of interest last year as well as the positive feedback from mushers, the limited entry has been increased from 10 to 15 teams.

RACE ENTRY FEE:
$200.00 USD and must be paid by personal check or money order. Make checks payable to IPSSSDR. Entry is open immediately.

Entry order is determined by date stamp on postal mark. Once the field is full, all additional interested mushers will be placed on a waiting list in order of post-mark.

Teams can run up to 8 dogs from a 10-dog pool. Teams participate in the ceremonial start in Jackson, running from the Town Square to the base of Snow King Mountain followed by two days of racing in Driggs, Idaho and Alpine, Wyoming.

RACE SCHEDULE:
Jan. 29 — Vet Check (Jackson, Wyoming) – 9:00am to 1:00pm
Jan. 29 — Ceremonial Start – Downtown Jackson, Wyoming
Jan. 30 — Driggs Race – 10:30 Start – Driggs, Idaho (approx. 30 miles)
Jan. 31 — Alpine Race – 9:00 Start – Alpine, Wyoming (approx. 30 miles)
Jan. 31 — Awards Ceremony
