Here’s a photo of the quintessential “sled pet” lying in a beanbag chair in front of the fire. At eighty-five pounds, Tryfan only fits in the beanbag curled up. Once he falls asleep and progressively relaxes his extremities (including ear and nose) flow over the edge of the bag and onto the carpet. To paraphrase Bill Watterson: “Sleeping dogs should be classified as liquids.”
