Information SILL SHIELD: The Window Ledge Protector Press release form Magnum Plastics Inc, 12/4/06 For years my dogs destroyed my window ledges and after searching in
vain to find a product, I came up with a few different prototypes that eventually led to
the SILL SHIELD. The SILL SHIELD is constructed from white heavy duty outdoor grade PVC similar to vinyl siding and ATTACHES WITHOUT TOOLS to most any surface with the use of clear low profile dual lock velcro coins made by 3M. SILL SHIELDS are white throughout so unlike painted surfaces, when they are scratched they are still white. Many people have asked if they come in wood grain but after testing I found that it was too hard to match the wide variety of wood grains and the wood grain didn't hide the scratching like the solid white. That's where the use of velcro comes in handy. SILL SHIELDS can be easily popped off for company, leaving only the small clear velcro coins behind and then replaced. SILL SHIELDS come in a variety of sizes to fit most window sills.
