Conditions:
Friday Jan 23 for the distance race: Sunny on a surface of ice with isolated spots of dirt and asphalt.
The Saturday events were on an ice and slush surface with drizzle in the morning changing to slush and snow after noon.
It snowed Saturday night and Sunday yielding an improved surface of 3 to 6 inches of powder snow.
