Conditions:
The trail conditions could not have been better. Prior to the New Years rain we
had 56 inches of fluff snow. After the rain it all settled down and was a hard packed
groomed trail that was FAST FAST FAST! It was extremely well marked, the scenery was
spectacular and all we heard was how great the trail was from the mushers.
The weather was good as well. A little dusting of snow in the morning but highs in the 20's and clear with little wind.
