Tionesta Valley Snowmobile Club volunteers traveled the Jim Lobdell Memorial Sled Dog Races course. Members of the Chautauqua County Amateur FM Association also arrived at Chapman to prepare for the races. Work completed includes erection of race course checkpoint/"turnaround" fencing, packing powder with the snowmobiles ("breaking trail"), testing signal strength for viability of Ham radio communications, placing hay/snow in "trouble spots" on draining areas and clearing of some brush from the trail.
