Wind: 10-15mph out of the North
Trail surface: Skiff of "new" snow on hard packed trail surface.
Day 2: Temperature: 16F ~ Sky: overcast ~ Wind: slight
from the North
Trail surface: Thin layer of loose snow on hard packed trail surface.
Trail conditions for racing: Near perfect, as fast as it gets.
Trail conditions on dogs: Moose footprints mile 10 to 10.5, mile 16 to 17.5 bumpy, "no barked" up feet after either heat.
