Dear Readers,
Here at Sled Dog Central we have observed a lot of attention on the sport and industry in recent months that is not all positive. The documentary "Sled Dogs" triggered much of this discussion on websites and on social media.
Now that voices have been heard and opinions expressed, Now What? Seriously, What do we do now? Do we go back to the mindset of 6 months ago and try to act as if the "Sled Dogs" movie never happened? Or do we take another approach?
Here at Sled Dog Central we are anxious to continue to provide a platform where responsible animal ownership, for pets and competing animals alike, is promoted and supported. But should we be doing more?
Would you like Sled Dog Central to provide you with more resources to address issues of poorly cared for animals? Would you like us to create a portal where you can easily locate instructions and guides on how to responsibly care for animals?
Perhaps you have an idea of how we could help that we have not yet considered!
