Don't worry about it, the response is not a new one to me, I get tired of explaining to people here in So Cal that not everybody who has a team runs in the Iditirod . . . actually the mountains 45 minutes from my house (San Bernardino) have recieved over 60 inches of snow with the mean temp apporoximately 33 degrees at around 8K elevation. This is my problem . . . being both new to the area and the sport I have no idea what areas are appropriate or what ettiquet I should follow . . . i.e. snowmoblie, snow shoeing or x-country trails.
