I have been gone for several days, so you have all had some peace, I'm sure. thanks for those of you who helped my friends at Solon Springs in the rec race. the vets pronounced my dogs dehydrated and too skinny. Especially my leader "Mr. Peabody" The poor sick animal was barely able to power the inexperienced 14-year old who was running him for the first time to first place before he collapsed. Nothing changes! Seriously, a half-Greyhound might look a little skinny to a mid-distance race vet, no foul! He IS Brindle and all, so hint, hint, hint! It was a 4-dog event, but I thought the boy would be safer taking 3. Right! Anyway, thanks to all, everyone had a good time.
