It depends, I'm new to mushing too but I've been handling for someone with experience. Blood in the diarhea is not necesserly a bad sign. If the blood is clear, it indicates that they had a good training, the reason why there's blood is because they have worked hard enough to create a stress in their guts and it's a good sign. If the blood is dark, it might indicate a stomach problem or the training was too hard on them and the stress created in their guts was too hard and it's like if they have deeper lasceration. I'm not an expert but one thing I know is that you're better not give antibiothic too often because, like for human, it becomes inefficient when it's realy needed.
