Hello, I just bought a new Arctic Cat 4 wheeler. What a machine...indpendent suspension on all 4 wheels, 4 wheel lock braking system, 5 speed, reverse, high and low range, speedometer, tactometer, etc., etc.. After using a 4 wheeler without a motor and usually no brakes, this was a major jump for me! The Arctic Cat is a 2x4, 250, 600lbs, me 175lbs, and the dogs pull it on all terrain very well. I run 8 dogs and I have to run the brake to keep them at 10-12 MPH. They love it, I love it, the wife loves it(I am yelling less:)..) and my 4 yr old loves it..she rides on it with helmet of course and gee/haws the dogs on our training runs!!!!! Life is much better this year!!! I hardly run the motor so far. Mileage is adding up and runs are getting longer...but for now they are pulling me 8 miles with the motor off (on gravel road). Soon I will turn on the motor and run it in 4th gear(which they have pulled before in earlier training runs) to increase speed once they have muscled up enough. BUT......I love my 4 wheeler!!!! No dog driver should be without one!! Good training to all!!!!
