Hi DH! Thanks again for the advice. We were up in the UP from Weds. to Sun. working on the cabin. We got the rafters set, some trails brushed and most important delivered a healthy litter of 6 Siberians! We went into town for pizza with the whelping box in the back of the car. My youngest went out to check on her and when she opened the door heard those delightful puppy noises. Tailer had birthed the first pup in the front seat! Kenton is a small folksy town and everyone in the bar kept coming out checking on the progress. We sat there with her for about 4 hrs. until we thought she was finished, 5 healthy males! We drove back to camp and within about 10 min. the first and only female was born. Erin & I slept with them out in the car to make sure they'd stay warm all night as it was about 25 deg. We need to head back up this weekend to put the plywood on the roof, so I'll be packing Tailer & pups along. Thanks again for making me feel comfortable about the situation! ~Mary Lou
