I'd recommend a Honda 300 Fourtrax 4x4 or larger/heavier Honda I have a Honda 300 Fourtrax 2x4 and I have no complaints re its application for training dogs except its too light so the dogs can drag it around even with the break on and in gear, I'd also recomend the 4x4 just in case you need the extra power to get yourself out of a mud hole or snowbank, etc. A 2x4 is less costly though, and I haven't had any problems using it, most times I can resolve the weight problem by turning the front wheel towards a snowbank on the side of the trail till I'm ready to go again, and I don't go anywhere the Honda would get so bogged down the dogs couldnt easily pull it out so I havn't had need of a 4x4, ..but it sure would be nice to have one. One good thing about it being light is you can pick up one end and move it around pretty easy by yourself if need be.
