Well I just had a friend's Sammie bite me on the back of the leg this weekend so I have a few suggestions,,,, Oh,,,,You meant about the ATVs,,,sorry. Just kidding. I used Polaris's for quite a few years, but just recently switched to Hondas. I have a 300 Fourtrax 4x4 and a 400 Foreman 4x4. I really like them. I can have the dogs pull against the different gears for strength training, or use the throttle and help them if I'm working on speed. From numerous other mushers I've talked to they are relatively maintenance free, and good on gas mileage. I like the 4x4 for the transition period between dirt and snow. It just gives you more control when cornering and stopping.
