Hi Jen

I have run quite a few Mals over the years, when they are working they do put down the groceries!

I would add a half pound or so of meat to the kibble, preferably beef. A little fat wouldnt hurt either. Chicken or turkey skins would help a lot or just add some canola oil to the kibble and meat. I stopped using corn oil when I found out the lectins in corn products wernot good for dogs disgestions.

I have for years used half meat in my diets with the kibbles.

Then its a matter or matching the amounts to the intensity. If you start working them real hard(30 miles a day or more) then begin increasing the fat levels.
