This is put out by my vet so I'll pass it on.
Small yards - one to four dogs (no litters on the ground) once a year with Panacur or one treatment of Pyrantel Pomoate. (one dose followed by a second dose three weeks later)
Medium yards - five to 15 dogs (one or less litters a year on the ground). Three times a year September, January, and March, I like to use Panacur one of those times and Pyrantel P. the other two times.
Large yards - 15 or more, or medium kennels that have numerous litters on the ground. 5 times a year April, August, October, December, and February. I still like one treatment with Panacur and the others with Pyrantel P.
Mega yards - lots of dogs and lots of puppies. I'm getting radical here, seeing how high the incidence of infection is in the soil, it is best to worm once a month. Once with Panacur and the rest with Pyrantel P. I still like the suggestion of using Panacur in the spring so the dogs have all summer to re-build.
Hope this helps. I copied it from some literature my vet sent out. Following is a list of Vaccine companies that I just happen to have on hand. Lambriar-www.Lambriarvet.com 1-800-344-6337, Omaha Vaccine Co. 1-800-367-4444, KV Vet Supply www.kvvet.com 1-800-423-8211, Foster & Smith 1-800-826-7206, New England Serum Co. www.NESerum.com 1-800-637-3786. There are many more, but these were handy.
