I have a male neutered malamute (age 4 ) that for some reason just loses weight. He doesnt have worms, hes not depressed, and its not just during the training season. His usual good weight is about 85-90 pounds. ( yes hes big but I still love him )On his thin side hes around 70. Loves attention, eats. So here is what Im wondering. I am feeding him 2 cups Eagle ( the name slips my mind, but it is in the orange bag.) Premium maybe? Anyhow he gets that, 2 cups and then another 2 cups of Prism premium. Little lower on fat and protein. Should I just give him the high fat high protein, or add some meat, and extra fat? He gets fed one time a day with everyone else at the same time every day. He still runs great. Ive never really worried about it before ( he just seems to put it back on ) but this year we are going to have a much more intense training for mid distance racing. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. JEN
