First of all I would like to state that I have no party affiliations! Ha!

I don't know where you are at TMR, but if you are in a rural place like me, I would order your vaccines from Jeffers. I agree with Paul that you should establish a relationship with your vet. However, it is not as easy as it sounds in my situation. Our local vet is only a vet part-time. Full time he is a state biologist. The mushers around here use him for emergencies and for basic medical attention, such as spay/nuetering and stiching wounds. He is also good about getting us medications such as antibiotics because he knows we have a basic understanding of dog care. For more serious medical attention I have to drive 90 miles to a vet that doesn't know much about sled dogs. So it must be a case that is common in all dogs. Then if I have a "sled dog problem" such as chiropractic or muscular problems I must drive 200 miles to a vet who is a musher and a chiropractor. If you have a bunch of dogs, I would order bulk. It is cheaper and if you are in an area with no vet you can keep some extras. Being known as the "dog lady" around here people ask me to administer shots to their pet dogs. I do this at no cost because I would like to keep healthy dogs in the area. I would never step past that though...anything else I may look at the dog but I usually send them to the vet. I just wanted to give some advice in case you are in the same situation as me.
