As a plumber, I use solvent cement to connect pipe to fittings quite often. One thing we cannot do is glue two different types of pipes together. The cement is actually a liquid form of the pipe we are using and there is a solvent in it to help "weld" it together. When you try to glue two different types of pipes together, the joint will eventually fail. I'm not sure how epoxy works, but maybe that's how Extrapole glues there runners on or possibly they use heat fusion. Solvent welding does not work on polyethylene, polybutylene, or polypropylene pipes. Have you thought about screwing them on? I'm not a racer so I don't know if this would create too much drag or take too much time. Sorry to ramble on but no one is around hear to tell me to stop talking about plumbing. Good luck. Erik
