we just started training with our adult dogs, and the new crew of puppies(11 wks) have been watching all of this activity. on a hunch, i took the riding mower, cut some paths in our hay field, and let them chase me on my bicycle around the field. It's really interesting to watch such young pups "figure it out" I'm particularily hopeful about one pup- looks like he may be a natural leader like his mom. course the neighbours only see me racing around in the field on my bike grinning like maniac. although they should be used to that kind of thing by now...
