Well the lakes are startin to freeze and it snowed this weekend (small pups first intro. to snow and they think its great!) Dogs are getting REAL hyper so I figured I'd better dig out some lines and run these beasts. Everyone did real well, including the pups and even the one husky that I've been getting alot of flack about cause he couldn't figure out he was supposed to pull last spring but he's got it real figgured out this year, just about pulled the ATV all by himself. The kid I trained for Arctic Winter Games dog sledding events came by for a visit, seems he and his dad have their own team now, hes getting a sled made and plans to join in the dog races this winter. He seems real keen. Which is great nice to see young guys getting into this sport (also means I actually get to run MY dogs this winter instead of watching somone else run them...YAY!) We got enough snow to tease us, nothing serious, just a couple more inches more an we can park the ATV's and dig out the "rock" sleds.
