i did'nt catch willard's comments, but apparently from reading the follow-ups, it was'nt worth it. so heres a puppy story to cheer you all up. i have a litter of pups, just turned 4 weeks old- the really fun age when they are learning how to run, but don't necessarily go in the direction that intented! The mother is my bst leader, and this being her first litter she has been extra watchful of her six little ones. As i was doing kennel maintenance, i let her and her puppies out of their puppy pen to visit the other dogs, all of whom are very accepting of the pups and can't wait to check them out. The mother's sister,a shy and easily startled dog who has a perpetual look of impending doom on her face decided to become the surrogate mom, rolling around on the ground with the pups, cleaning them, and allowing them to pull her ears tail feet, and enjoying it all immensely. well mom decides that this is too much fun to pass up, and joined her sister and six pups all rolling around in a pile in the grass. I can' say enough how proud i am of my "fur-children" and how gentle and accepting they are of puppies and each other! a definite kodak moment!!
