Sled Dog Central 2009: Bootleg Sled Dog Race Results

Conditions:
Drenched in sunshine, nestled amid the peaks of the east Kootenay Rockies, the 1st Annual Bootleg Sled Dog Races were a booming success. Hosting over 3600 spectators the races flowed seamlessly from the opening of the musher check-in, through the two days of racing to the awards ceremony at the conclusion of the races. Participants were delighted with the challenging trail, the endless energy of the hundred plus volunteers and the overwhelming support of the community.

Over $10,000 is targeted to be donated to a local children's charity from the race.
