Rich Gannon of Bethel, Alaska won the Aniak 100 sled dog race March 9th, and was awarded $3,000 for his effort. Former champion Nathan Underwood was second. Gannon fiinished in 10 hours, 22 minutes, forty minutes ahead of Underwood. Kenny Richards of Holy Cross was third, and Dave Diehl of Aniak was fourth.
