Time for new clippers for my recreational working dogs. Best nail clippers for large dogs? Suggestion of brand and where to buy. Scissors type best or ???

Alaskan Huskies and non-northern breeds mutt.

Thank you.

I have had a Miller's Forge pair for over a 15 years now, and have never had any issues. They are tough and consistent.

I don't like the guillotine type, personally. The ones I like I get from Drs. Foster and Smith or Omaha Vaccine, have blue rubber handles, and curved scissor-type openings. They last a long time and are easy for me to maneuver and see what I'm doing.

I'll look into those. So nice to have a place to go to when you need experienced advice. Love SDC Talk!

Appreciate busy dog drivers taking the time to respond. Thanks for the help!
