After about 10 years, my Canada Goose snow pants have been sewn up a thousand times and have now just about rotted through. I need a new pair of snow pants or bib pants and know there are lots of companies that I've never heard of, so I'm looking for suggestions?

It seems like it would be easier to keep my batteries, massage oil, hand warmers, and cell phone warmer with bib pants - but I hate the idea of them weighing down on my shoulders on long runs and the fact that so many bib pants don't have belt loops (where would I put my knife?)

What's worked for you?

Apocalypse Design in Fairbanks does custom work. So I have pants, and they add the belt loops, a sheath pocket for my knife, and extra fabric on the knees. But you can get them to build in whatever you want for pockets. I tend to keep things I want warm in inside pants pockets, so I don't need much on my otter snow pants but the knife.
