Any ideas for SAFE effective fly prevention and control? They are starting to rear their ugly heads!

A friend of mine has 2 in his kennel (opposite corners) and you can hear the flies just getting nailed every night.

I was thinking of buying a bug zapper that has a 1.5 acre range. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks for suggestions and advice!

The best thing I have used for flies is to apply a couple of drops of the monthly flea repellant on the tips of the ears of the dogs. This flea repellant must contain either pyrethrin or permathrin to work and then you can use it once a month.

Fly traps around the perimeter of your dog yard..

Fly Spray: one bottle of blue dawn into clean one gallon jug and equal amount of apple cider water. Shake well then add water and mix again. Will last up to four hours - ax.
