Can any one recomend how much meat / fat one would need for a kennel of 23 dogs. We are looking at distance races and need to figure out how much meat we should order and how much fat.
I remember reading sibes dont handle the fat that alskans use.
any suggestions would be great,

Hey THZ,
So, your mals do okay on Eagle? I've always been concerned about the fact that it contains grain. I've tried grain-based kibble before and found they don't seem to do particularly well. Also, what is the "Champaigne race diet-blue?" This is a type of meat or kibble? |

Hi Sarah-
Last winter from Nov-March, we fed almost 3000lbs of meat and fat to 21 siberians living in Two Rivers, AK and training for/running Quest. Meat/fat and kibble are about 50/50 of total feed.
Guess I gotta change my login name from NH to AK....

I feed my mals approx 1 lb meat/day (Champaign race Diet - Blue) with 2-3 cups Eagle Pack kibble |
