What GPS app do people like for mushing? Racing? Any pros or cons to using your cell phone as a GPS?

My Google fit keeps congratulating me on my hour long "bike rides." That's what it thinks when traveling at 12-14 mph on an ATV being pulled by dogs, lol.

Map My Ride might work for you. My only issue is that in the heat of the launch, especially on a sled, I don't want to be fooling with my phone and potentially dropping it, especially since when I do carry it, it is in a plastic bag in an inside zippered pocket. Map My Ride does have the ability to "pause" when you are not moving so you could probably set it up that way and not have to worry about starting it when you start a run.
