Hello Snowdog, I had a quiet New Year with fellow Husky friends. I raced last weekend, on Saturday night, finishing 6th out of 23 in the 4 dog with a time of 14min 41 seconds over a 3.7 mile course. I was pleased with the run as there was some very hot teams running and I was about 1 minute away from second place even though I missed the first turn because some spectators were standing in front of the trail marker. I then raced on Sunday morning finishing 7th out of 24 teams. I did not have such a good run over the 5.7 mile course because I over fed the dogs on Saturday evening at a very late time of 10.30 when they usually get fed about 7.00 in the evening. Oh well, you live and learn. I am now heading off to Scotland for our biggest race of the year at Aviemore. There are 230 teams entered this year. I will be up there for a week before the race to do some extra training. I am hoping for a top 10 place. But with over 55 teams in the 4 dog class so it will be hard work.
