I have been informed by friends that Ivomectin can be very dangerous to dogs that have collie in them. I confirmed this with my vet and she agreed do not administer Ivomectin to dogs with any Collie in them. If your dog has any Collie in it there is a chance for complications. I feel it is not worth the risk, so I stick with Strongid, because I know it is safe.
