I go to the butcher and buy some bones when the dogs seem to be really bored. I pay 29 cents a pound, so I can get 10 or so bones for about $4. It keeps them quite busy for a few days, and even after all the goodies are gone, they seem to still pick them up and chew on them when they have nothing else to do.
