Dog Power Movie (DP1) introduces audiences to the incredible and relatively unknown world of dog-powered sports.
This powerful 33 minute documentary features first-of-it's-kind footage of the best in the world racing in canicross, bikejoring, scooterjoring, skijoring, pulka racing, cart and sprint sled dog racing. DP1 follows Team USA co-captain Kale Casey's journey as a beginning musher all the way to the highest levels of international sprint racing competition.
Along the way, Kale discovers that the fastest sled dogs are capable of sustaining incredible speeds on both dirt and snow. Paraplegic adaptive musher Taina Teras shows that dogs transform the lives of the humans who are lucky enough to have discovered how easy and accessible it is to train and compete with their canine companions.
